National Champions of AISSCE from Chandigarh

Chandigarh is now being considered as the Intelligent City of India as three students of class XII scored second and third highest rank in the country. Bhumi Sawant scored 99.4% in non-medical and is at second position nationally, Mannat Luthra and Aditya Jain are at the third position with 99.2 per cent in Commerce.
Bhumi got an absolute 100 in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Maths, the exception being English where she got 97 marks. Beaming with happiness Bhumi said, “Self-study was the key to my success. Teachers can only guide but it is your determination, hard work and focus on study which pays off in the end. The number of hours you devote to study don’t matter much but to do it on a regular basis even for one hour with full focus is the key. In future I want to pursue a career in Computer Science Engineering.” Bhumi is also a music enthusiast and loves to play piano.

Mannat Luthra and Aditya Jain who have attained third position are from Bhavan Vidyalaya School, Sector 27. Mannat maintained that key to good marks is regular studies and not cramming in last 1 -2 months. Mannat had also joined coaching centres for revision crash courses towards the end of 2016. She has scored a perfect 100 in Maths and Accounts and 99 marks in Economics as well as Business Studies and 98 in English.

Aditya Jain has scored perfect 100 in Economics and Business but 99 marks in Maths and Accounts.
Aditya and Mannat want to pursue B.A. Economic Hons course from St Stephen’s College in Delhi University and pursue the civil services. Aditya like to play football while Mannat loves music.
Apart from the trio above, a pair of twins named Neha and Tanya Goyal have scored 98.6% and 98.4% respectively in the commerce stream.
